About us

V A C  Speditionsgesellschaft mbH. was established 1988 and is a private enterprise situated at the Airport Vienna.

Company founding was done in 1988 by Mr. Norbert Pichler, who at that time had already decades experience in leading positions in international air- and seafreight. We started as private enterprise with 3 coworkers and operational head office at Airport Vienna.

Shortly after we reached the status of an IATA Cargo Agent (The International Air Transport Association works out and enforces international rules concerning air traffic, required training and educational standards; further training at regular intervals is mandatory)

We offer our clients all services in the fields of airfreight, seafreight, distribution, customs clearance and in different special areas. Already 1992 we reached a state of 14 employees and stabilized currently by a staff of approx. 25.

Our international partnerships are secured by memberships in high quality partner networks (since 1996 IASA-member - International Air Shipping Association have been founded already 1971 and is one of the oldest consolidation of independent national forwarding agents on all continents to guarantee internationally equal service standards; since 2005 WCA-member, since 2016 WWPC-member).

We take care to be mostly up-to-date in all areas, have our own customs and domestic heated warehouse with adjustable ramps for fast and easy loading und unloading our own thermo-truck and modern office facilities at the Airport Vienna as well as e-customs (an electronical customs system for import-, export- and transit customs clearances).

  • 2006  -  First Austrian "Regulated Agent" (companies who guarantee as per EU-VO No. 2015/1998 security checks for cargo)
  • 2009  -  AEO-certification (Authorized Economic Operator - AEO(F) or (S) - an approved trader has a special status: he is classified as especially reliable and confidential and can therefore draw on specific privileges during customs clearance)

We are a medium size enterprise with efficient communication, high qualified coworkers, IT-Solutions for forwarding and customs mostly up-to-date and our own modern vehicle fleet as well as optimal conditions of employment. These are the prerequisites in order to implement our high set Standards:
